Moranbah Orthodontists

Invisalign begun in 1999 and is an fascinating, effective tactic of realigning teeth, with the use of breakthrough technologies that make stunning smiles without bands, brackets or wires. Using 3D imaging your treatment is planned and results will be seen even before you even commence treatment.  Invisalign is practically invisible and provides patients with an aesthetic alternative to braces. Not all problems can be resolved with Invisalign and an appointment with Dr Whyte (Moranbah Orthodontist) will answer your questions.

What is it?

Using a series of virtually invisible custom made removable aligners (like thin clear plates), Invisalign straightens teeth in stages. Approximately every fortnight the next series of aligner is started by you at home and worn at least 22 hours per day. Each visit with us we give you several new Ashgrove Invisalign aligners and monitor the treatment, sometimes doing additional procedures to allow treatment to run smoothly. Usually 3 or 4 sets are issued ensuring that appointment intervals can be spaced 6-8weeks apart. Our Moranbah Invisalign aligners are comfortable to wear. These Invisalign aligners are also removable allowing patients to eat, drink, brush and floss as usual.

Invisalign Treatment Time

Every patient is unique however treatment usually takes between 6-24 months, the average time frame is 12months. You will see Dr Michael Whyte for Ashgrove Invisalign check ups and adjustments. At these appointments additional aligners are given to further your treatment. Treatment will work for most people, provided you wear your aligners 22 hours daily. Our experienced orthodontists can ensure that your Moranbah invisalign treatment will be successful.

Costs can sometimes be cheaper than braces. Please book a consultation for an opinion. All charges are explained on the day, and there are no surprises.
